The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the official independent regulator of health and social care in England.

How the CQC make their assessments

CQC uses inspection visits (including unannounced visits), questionnaires, examines records, makes observations and uses staff and service user feedback to make their formal assessment in accordance with Key Lines Of Regulatory Assessments (KLORA). CQC Official Inspection Reports for Grafton Lodge

In our most recent CQC assessment, dated 8 March 2018, all five tested standards achieved a Good rating, giving us an overall rating of Good. This is an excellent achievement for a small, family run home.
